Students will be able to imagine and create their own designs using computer aided design (CAD) modeling. Projects will be: keychains, cube puzzles, and tangram puzzles. Students will sketch their designs, create CAD models, and then print their projects. I also want to make fraction manipulatives to help students visualize how to add and subtract fractions. Concrete models help students make connections with abstract concepts. I would like to see how the manipulatives enhance academic achievement. Our school has a large population of students with disabilities. We will print materials to assist them in learning.
