Bound To Learning
Funded May 29, 2024Thank you so much for your generous donations. This binding machine has been a well loved tool this year in my classroom. My students have published several books each and have loved to see their published work in our classroom library. These materials will be used for my grade level team next year. I am looking forward to afford my students the opportunity to continue to publish their work, thanks to you!”

Funded Nov 13, 2023My students are busy working with our Spike Prime set and enjoy learning to code with them.Thank you for helping us have this opportunity.
Students say this is the best part of their day to be able to come in and 'play' with Legos but they are learning so much about teamwork, cooperation, and perseverance during this play. It makes all the work we do as teachers rewarding to see them engaged and perfecting their code and project.
I am currently in the process of trying to create our FIRST LEGO League in hopes to bring this experience and knowledge to competitions.
Thank you so much again!”

This act of kindness will always be appreciated. Thank you again for your support. My students and I greatly appreciate it.
Just because of you I have been able to provide healthy snacks for the students in my classroom. The smile on my student's faces can not be replaceable.
When they first saw the snacks, the students was excited. When I told them the snacks were donated, they were ecstatic! They immediately wanted to know if we could have an extra snack time during the day.
Thank you again for all of your help with this project. The students and I truly appreciate the help with healthy snack donations, and it will certainly feed both their stomachs and their minds!”

Funded May 6, 2023Thank you so much! I am so thankful for your donations to refill our snack supply in the classroom. Headphones to Provide Uninterrupted Learning
Funded Dec 28, 2022Thank you so much again for your generous donations to help fund our project to supply headphones for my class to use. My students were so excited from the day that they arrived in the mail, and are still excited to use them every day in the classroom. Words cannot express enough how grateful we are for your help!
We have used these headphones for a variety of things in our classroom since we have received them. First we have used them to allow the students to use them while they are working independently on their assignments. It has really contributed to our productive learning environment, especially during our small reading group rotations. These headphones allow us to have the student not be distracted by others around them and their work.
Also, these are very durable headphones that have lasted longer than any others we have tried to use before. These headphones have allowed my students to work in a comfortable and safe environment. Once again, thank you so much for your help! My class is so grateful to have this technology to aid us in our learning.”

Funded Sep 20, 2022Thank you so much for your generosity. Many of my students come to school hungry or don't have the money to buy snacks to help them get through the day.
The wide variety of healthy snacks- granola bars, gold fish, fruit snacks- helped many of my students satisfy their hunger and get the nutrition needed to perform at their best during the school day.
These snacks have been given out daily to provide my students with the sustenance they need to power their brains and their bodies and give them fuel to continue learning throughout the day.
Thank you so much again!”

Funded Aug 10, 2022My students are enjoying their spiral binding machine with coils. They love it so much, that they have taken ownership and have helped me bind books I have created for small reading groups.
This binding machine with its coils will allow my students to display their books like true authors. We are in the process of learning about different types of texts and are working on publishing our own work.
Having a tangible book they create, bind, place in our library, and take home will give my students a great sense of accomplishment!
I want to say thank you for your generosity and willingness to support my classroom and all public education. THANK YOU!”

Funded Mar 8, 2022Thank you for supporting my classroom project Food For Thought. My school provides free breakfast and lunch daily, and many of my students do not bring a snack to school with them. We have a long afternoon of academics and many of them were hungry in the middle of the afternoon after snack time because they didn't have a snack. These snacks were provided to all of my students who needed a snack or needed a boost of energy to finish their day.
Providing snack from my own pocket had become incredibly costly, and having a pantry of snacks readily available provided a predictable safe space for all students to know they could participate in snack time. My students and I thank you for supporting our classroom project and for feeding their hungry bellies and growing minds!”

An Ear-Resistible Necessity
Funded Apr 8, 2022My class was so overwhelmed with joy when they heard we were getting new headphones. I can remember the look on my students' faces the day the headphones arrived, they looked relieved. I was relieved as well. One of my students said that she was so happy because it was impossible to focus without headphones. It is so amazing to see the students get right to work and put all of their focus on the task at hand and not have to worry about of they can hear their online instruction.
The learning that takes place in my classroom has truly been enhanced because time is no longer wasted on faulty headphones, or being distracted by other students around them raising their hands and calling out for my help. It quickly became a very calm and helpful environment that was so much more conducive for learning.
I can't thank you enough for your willingness to support our classroom!”
