So coming back from teaching remotely, I have seen and used several types of technology based activities that kept my students engaged as well as aided in teaching the content I wanted to get a cross. The most effective was Kahoot, but there are others used and more to be found that I'd like to implement in the classroom now that everyone is back in person. We're in an ever growing age of technology and children are being exposed to and are utilizing it at younger and younger ages every year; thats why it's imperative that they get the opportunity to learn how to use it effectively. My students have a variety of special needs conditions that put them below the general education population in terms of performance, but with continued effort from my team, myself, and the parents we have been making progress. I believe we can be more effective if our students had access to resources such as tablets for more game based learning, research based activities, typing practice and many more concepts for the sole purpose of giving them a well rounded education that could better prepare them for all the technology they'll face as adults.
