On a daily basis, I give my students engaging lessons and activities to make Biology relatable. However, nothing beats the hands-on experience of learning by doing. Currently, we are in need of basic equipment and supplies found in a high school biology lab including tweezers, gloves, and test tubes as well as prepared slides. I am trying to acquire laboratory materials and supplies that can be used to conduct weekly lab projects such as identifying macromolecules, seeing the effects of enzymes on plant and animal tissue or making slides to identify various types cells using samples from various plants and animals. My students are excited and eager to enhance their learning with labs but currently we are limited by lack of resources to fulfill this desire. Any item that can be provided from the list of materials will be greatly appreciated!
