Calming Sensory Corner
Funded Sep 13, 2024I am so grateful for your kindness. Your donations fills my heart with joy and love. All of my current and future students will benefit from your kindness. Most importantly, they will have a safe place in school where they can explore feelings and emotions. Our new calming sensory corner will positively impact my students well-being and encourage social emotional learning. Making positive connections at school will help my students continue to grow and expand on their strengths.”

Oh, The Places We Can Write
Funded Mar 8, 2023Our letter and number stamps have helped our writing and math lessons be more engaging. During writing activities, my students review letters and practice writing skills independently or with adult support. My kiddos now have more opportunities to extend their writing skills. They write and practice high frequency words and complete sentences with the use of our amazing letter stamps. Our letter stamps have also helped my students create simple thank you and birthday messages to many of our supportive school staff and friends. Best of all, my students can now write their names with the use of our letter stamps.
Our letter and number stamps will continue to support my students in many more lessons and activities. My students will strengthen their grip and hand control to increase their independence. Giving my students opportunities to become more self-sufficient can give them confidence in their abilities and promote more independent skills.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Becerra
Adapting Our Colorful Lessons
Funded Sep 19, 2022Our adapted lessons now have the much needed colors needed to help my students make connections to our lessons. Plain black and white print did not provide my students with the much needed visual supports to actively participate in classroom lessons and activities.
I am now able to print and enlarge text and images to improve visibility and clarify new concepts and terms to add to my students prior knowledge. In addition to reading, writing, and math materials, I have provided my non-verbal students with colorful communication boards to help teach communication and encourage choice making.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Becerra
