    Thank you so much for your generations contributions. With your support, my students are able to engage in multi sensory learning, and be in a classroom they can enjoy. Their individual learning styles are represented thanks to the items I was able to purchase with your donations.

    When my students first saw these items, they were ecstatic and could not wait to put them to use! Not only can they use these to calm themselves down and self-soothe, but they can also use them to learn and obtain the sensory input they need. Again, thank you for your unwavering support!”

  • Multi-Sensory Tools for Our Classroom!

    Thank you so much for making my classroom comfortable for all learners! With your help, the students were more engaged and ready to learn than ever. They were absolutely stunned and excited to see all of the new additions.

    They are able to learn and focus using their special seat cushions. They receive sensory input while simultaneously learning new concepts.

    Moving forward, we will be setting up flexible seating centers where the students will be able to sit in various parts of the room using the different cushions and chairs they now have access to. This will not only make them more comfortable, but will also add a sense of responsibility to their position in the classroom.”

Each of my students learns differently, and they must have the tools they need to succeed. Many of my students have not been in-person learning and, because of this, are experiencing difficulty transitioning into a school setting. These tools will be used in my classroom to soothe students while learning and transitioning into the new school year and engage them in all subjects. Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. Weighted items, such as vests and stuffed animals, will help my students with their sensory processing, and will also help to calm my students when they need extra comfort. These items are known to help special needs students with sensory and emotional needs. Sometimes the classroom can be an overwhelming place for students with special needs, and headphones also help with minimizing sensory overload due to noise. With these options in my classroom, I am confident my students will have a successful school year and become confident learners with your support!
