  • Youth Activists!

    Funded Feb 8, 2023

Thank you so much for all your support for our youth activists. The students were able to conduct research and create and execute an action plan that resulted in their efforts helping people in their community.

The students researched the topic of injustice in their community and identified homelessness as a major area of concern. The students conducted fundraising and used the money to buy the items for the care packages that they are donating to the local shelters.

The support from this project enabled the students to research the problem of homelessness in their own community. This research turned them all into activists! Each and every student contributed to the effort, and all tasks were done collaboratively.

This project has enriched all our lives at MS 35. Thank you for being part of this rewarding experience.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Scott

It is with deep gratitude that I write this note. My students will benefit tremendously from the magazines that will deepen their knowledge of current affairs. The content will broaden my students’ horizon, and extend their ability to engage in discussions that reflect their deep thinking and are evidence based.”
