Thank you for the help in finding supplies needed for my students to flourish. All of these materials will go to great use and provide equity within my classroom. Your generosity will be greatly celebrated by all who are in my four classes. Again, thanks for the support you have given me.”

  • Science Essentials

    Funded Dec 31, 2024

Thank you for helping aid in my students' education through donating supplies to my classroom.

My students have really been able to flourish days after being given these supplies. Students were able to create great prototypes of their amplified MRE'S. They used the clay to make the food that would be served in the MRE which the students excelled in making. They used the scissors I now have to cut the clay, bags and cardboard boxes which were also used in the creation of their prototype. This has made a huge impact on classroom work that has been completed.

Students have had struggles since covid with social and emotional situations and with these materials students have been able to form relationships with each other better. The way in which they work together on projects is impeccable and something exciting to watch.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Steiner

  • Mindful Maintenance

    Funded Feb 3, 2024

Thank you for helping aid in my students' education through donating supplies to my classroom. My students really flourished based on the social emotional items that were purchased. Students used the spot of feelings book and the stuffed animals as needed based on how they were feeling throughout the classes. This has made a huge impact on classroom etiquette. Students have struggles since covid with social and emotional situations and with these materials students have been able to form relationships with each other better.”

  • Model Magic

    Funded Jan 6, 2024

I am extremely thankful for your generosity to my students in my classroom. Students were able to successfully complete many models based on the supplies that were provided due to your support. Students did not have to worry about putting a burden on parents or if a student did not have the means to buy the supplies needed. Students were able to access the clay that they needed to create their animal for the endangered species project with ease. This helped to level the playing field for all students in my class and allow them to be successful.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Steiner

  • Terrific Tables for Collaboration

    Funded Feb 20, 2022

Thank you much for supplying the tables needed in my science classroom. Table are a great tool when completing science projects and lab experiments which are done often within the curriculum. The gave them the space that is needed to use all materials and spread them out. They were able to put the content in the curriculum to life throughout the year. Students grew a lot as scientists and became more interested in the subject. The tables also were able to give students some more space for students who need to be separated and not next to another child.”

  • Artful Store

    Funded Mar 2, 2022

Thank you so much for your support and help for each of my students. With the supplies funded for this project my students were able to create models all year long. They made multiple dioramas and had the materials each time without worrying about buying it themselves. This made the learning process more fun and allowed them to flourish in the classroom. This allowed not only hands on learning but collaboration to occur daily. I was able to see the growth in each student by the end of the year. I will be able to continue using the supplies this school year to incorporate collaboration as well.”

  • Artsy Engineers

    Funded Oct 21, 2021

We have been able to use the materials given to complete many lab activities. We used baking soda and vinegar to study chemical reactions. Students were able to observe the processes and then draw conclusions based on this. Students have also been able purchase some items that I have used in my classroom store when exhibiting positive behaviors.

Students were extremely excited when they saw the boxes and then what was comprised in them. They were excited that they had materials to complete labs.

We are currently completing research projects for ecosystems and endangered species. For each of these projects' students are required to create a model that encompasses their topic.”

Where have the arts in education gone? I refuse to let the arts die, and one way I plan to keep it alive is through the construction of models. Creating models has become very popular with students. It has also become easier to do in the classroom since it is now integrated into our new curriculum. Models provide an interactive platform that encourages learners to give captivating and engaging class presentations. I want to use the requested markers, crayons, posters and paint to motivate students to put more effort in their presentations along with their slideshows, and show visual explanations of their ideas to visually connect with their audience. Students will work in collaborative groups to create models on science concepts such as environmental, earth, evolution and reproduction. It's ideal for a diverse range of learning styles and just plain out fun and memorable. With these model supplies it will help to motivate students, improve learning, and integrate art! Please help me keep the arts alive!
