We do lots of hands on therapy in the schools based off literacy books. We have dyed eggs, made slime, gone on a leaf hunt (with a real boat and all), gone on a bear hunt and made numerous crafts. These items will be used to continue to create hands on therapy to increase language skills such as vocabulary, sequencing, prepositions, categorizing, following directions, requesting, commenting, syntax through inventive and creative play as well as through literacy. This project will have an impact on approximately 90 students. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
