The students will each be given their own STEAM activity to take home and use independently during the extended holiday break from school. After completing the experiment, build, or task students will write about their activity explaining the process and what they enjoyed most about it. The experiment itself supports ingenuity and creativity, builds resilience, encourages knowledge application, teaches problem solving, and encourages adaption. STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. The push of STEAM at school and at home encourages young generations to explore opportunities that will build skills they will use throughout their life.
