Clean Water is Our Friend
Funded Feb 27, 2023My students and I send our sincerest thanks for your generous donations. We are extremely appreciative and we want you to know that these supplies will impact so many students. The students were so touched that you cared about the Water Crisis enough to assist them without knowing them. Thank you for caring!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Beaman

Funded Sep 23, 2021My students and I are truly grateful for the supplies. As we navigate through this pandemic, resources like the Lysol wipes, masks, and hand sanitizers were our saving grace. My students also absolutely appreciate you supplying pens, pencils, and copy paper so that they have access to essential resources for getting their work done. When my students first walked into the classroom on project day their eyes lit up because they saw that they had everything they needed. They didn't have to share or wait for their turn with scissors, glue, construction paper, etc. and more importantly they felt absolutely safe while working in their groups.
When my students saw their supplies, they were honestly so grateful. They could not believe that strangers were donating so that they could be successful. They asked me so many times why would someone do that. It was such a heartfelt moment because now they know that people outside of our classroom care. They told their parents, who are also truly grateful, about the donations and how you've made them feel so special.
In an attempt to foster creativity while also building writing skills, the students will be writing their own personal narratives to go long with their tree. These narratives will allow the students tell a story about a moment of growth that they've experience and how that moment is reflected in their tree. The pandemic has been a growing experience for us all and they will get to tell a little bit of their story just like the author of our book. This lesson plan has been extremely dear to my student's heart and I hope you know that you helped make that so! Thank you for contributing!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Beaman
