By adding bookshelves to my room, I’m adding an opportunity for creativity and imagination. With more space, comes more books which will bring even more excitement for my students to venture into the realm of storytelling. 3rd grade is a vital year when it comes to reading and it’s important to accommodate and encourage that environment to the best of my ability. I have a students that read on all different levels and it is my plan to not only have the materials, but the space to provide the necessary range for the variety of reading levels as well.
