Help Our First Grade Class

I cannot thank everyone who was able to donate to our classroom enough. The smiles on the student's faces were priceless. At our school we have five core values that we honor and having the support of a greater community creates another teachable moment for our students. That not only does our school follow the core values of respect, kindness, empathy, teamwork, and problem solving but so do people in our world.

Students have been able to access more and more books on their amazon fire tablets. This made exploring non fiction books that much more fun. Our ELA block has been transformed by the variety of different resources we gained from everyone's generosity. When students are asked, "What was your favorite part of today?" Students unanimously say centers. These resources brought differentiation to life in an organized way for our students and teachers alike!

My students are kind, energetic, and LOVE music! We use the speaker throughout the day and the charging station is a great help to keep things going. We start our day with classical music as we enjoy breakfast together. We move into instrumental pop covers during writer's workshops and without fail we end the day listening to Encanto which is a fan favorite. Our take a break space has also been transformed by the variety of fidgets that students can use throughout the day. Thank you again for all of the generous donations.”
