    Funded Feb 9, 2022

I want to take time to tell you all thank you for everything you are doing to help me motivate my students to explore more with science. They are super excited about actually getting to do real lab experiments, and that is all possible because of you and your generous donations!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Peters

  • Who Dunnit?

    Funded Feb 9, 2022

I am absolutely thrilled that you have funded these projects. I thank you for investing in the future of my scholars. People have counted us out, but we are definitely on our way to success. I am grateful for each of you and your contribution to our class. I can't wait to tell them they're going to be able to do more hands-on labs.”

  • Cutting Up With Science

    Funded Sep 26, 2021

I want to thank you for everything. My students were super excited to have the opportunity to do an actual dissection lab. The lab was related to the levels of cellular organization and how that is relevant to ecology in regard to ecological hierarchy. The students had to be knowledgeable of how all living things begin as a cell and that those cells group together to form tissues. Those tissues group together to form organs, those organs then form organ systems, and those organ systems form and organism. They learned that the most complex level of cellular organization is an organism. In the same token, the least complex level in ecology is also an organism. Your contribution gave my students an opportunity to experience hands on activities that they would never had experienced otherwise. They had to find and identify all the different parts in each specimen and identify the organizational level of that part. Again, thank you for so much! I'm excited about our next project.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Peters

Students will be able to experience real laboratory experiences to get a better understanding of biological concepts required for completion of all core standards. Having hands on experience will hopefully spark my students' minds and make them want to know more about cellular organization and how Biology impacts their daily lives. Students will be able to dissect and analyze specimens under a microscope to discuss real world situations concerning cells as a system, genetics, and enzymatic activity. They will be able to use their experience to aid them in online practices outside of class.
