Classroom Library Essentials

Thanks to the books that have been donated to our library, students have been excited to check out these new stories. Students have been reading the blurbs and identifying books that sound interesting to them. Having graphic novels in the classroom have piqued their curiosity into the world of reading and they have asked for recommendations for similar books. In the classroom, students have the first period to read their independent reading books. They enjoyed these books immenselt and thank you all for donating to the classroom.”

This classroom project was brought to life by The Allstate Foundation and 4 other donors.

I am trying to build our classroom library into one where students feel joy looking at and browsing. These books will revamp our classroom and bring character to the shelves. I want students to feel excited to read and build their knowledge through books. From your contribution, students will have access to mystery books, books about women empowerment, as well as graphic novels. I cannot thank you enough for how much this would mean to me and the students if we were to receive these. Harry Potter books were my introduction to the world of reading, so I hope one of these books will spark that love in my students.
