Because a majority of my students have never been in school before, when many things are happening in the classroom at once, it can be overwhelming and distracting. Students in my class receive individualized instruction from both myself and my classroom paraprofessionals. Classroom dividers would support my students in being able to focus on their own individual instruction, and not the instruction of another student. By placing these dividers in our class, we can have clearly defined work areas and minimize distractions and increase instructional time as much as possible.
