Thank you for this donation. We appreciate these resources. This project will help inspire young readers. • Headphones for 4th Graders

    Funded Feb 8, 2022

Thank you for your donation to our 4th grade classrooms. I'm excited to share this gift with students knowing they will be overjoyed with the new, cool headphones.

My students will use these headphones to ensure they are learning on grade level material. They also have been able to use them for testing which has improved reading and comprehension scores giving a more accurate picture of their strengths.

Thank you again for supporting our classroom - we truly appreciate it and needed these materials.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Carpenter

  • 4th Grade Classroom

    Funded Dec 21, 2021

In our 4th grade classroom, we integrate technology every day. Students use chromebooks. Students often wear headphones to support that learning.

In the past, students had to share a small selection of older, broken headphones that did not work well. They regularly take oral fluency exams which help evaluate their reading ability. The older, broken headphones created many issues with these exams. The new headphones articulate the students in a clearer capacity which improved student scores. This boosted their overall confidence.

When the new headphones arrived the students acted like it was Christmas Day! They love using them and take excellent care of them. They are extremely comfortable and the students think they make them look super cool!

    Thank you from our classroom!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Carpenter

This project will help my students achieve in academics while minding the opportunity gap and ensuring equitable resources. These materials will help ensure less distractions and all kids can access audiobooks. My kids can’t afford their own headsets so this will ease the burden of not being able to provide their own. Through the TPT gift card, I can purchase materials for students who need additional scaffolding. This will ensure all students are on track with grade level reading by the end of the year. A surplus of headphones will also lesson surging amongst students for the few pairs we do have.
