Special needs students have suffered significantly from COVID and schools need help bridging the gap! Now, more than ever, computers are needed in the classroom.
With most school-based technology being outdated or lent out to students learning remotely due to school closures, in-person students have difficulty accessing technology.
Currently, students are unable to learn or practice the computer skills they will require to be successful in our digital era. Our classroom needs this laptop to help our learners in a number of ways. These laptops will put virtual field trips, thousands of online books, interactive lessons, and STEM activities and experiments right at students' fingertips and help them be as prepared as possible for school closures during these unprecedented times.
The printer will be used to print visuals and materials that students can use at home should we need to close and learn remotely.
This year will be a year of the unknown as far as how much the students will actually be in class and/or learning from home. Please help my students get the best out of this situation.
