These materials will support my students' creativity and allow them to express themselves through colorful works of art. Several of my students have shared their aspiration of becoming an engineer to design houses and buildings that will withstand the forces of nature. The Math manipulatives and art supplies will help to make our classroom a place to explore and allow their creativity to be expressed in various ways. I address my students by calling them by the name of their future career of choice (Dr., Professor, Maestro, ). Our lessons extend beyond our classroom. We take field lessons and explore the campus looking for forms of energy, forms of force and motion, and types of angle, just to name a few of the many ways we use the environment to make real-world connections.
