My project contains many books that students have been asking for. During our final quarter, I asked multiple classes for different books, genres, and authors they would like to see in the classroom library.
Our building does not have a school library and students have expressed interest in a multitude of titles and genres.
I hope to provide access to these texts within our school. I teach both 9th-grade students and language learners from all grade levels. I am excited to share these texts with both ELA and ENL classes.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Ho

Thank you for donating. The classroom will flourish with these texts. I cannot wait to share the results with the donors. Thank you all for what you do and I hope positive energy comes back to you, your life, and others surrounding you. On behalf of myself and the students, thank you!”

Thank you for giving to our classroom. Fed children are happy children. The impact I've seen in the classroom and outside has grown greatly and it wouldn't be possible without the help of you.
Students are always able and ready to learn. Many students throughout the day have shared that they have not had lunch or received support from home or the school regarding food. Being able to share just a little goes a long way. This helps build rapport with students and engagement. Thank you again for your kindness.”

Thank you for sharing these items within our classroom. Students have received a share of supplies and snacks. Students have always been asking for hungry or saying they cannot focus because of their hunger. These snacks have improved student success and build rapport.
Other students have transferred into the class and giving them these supplies has helped them transition to our class and school. I have new students coming from new schools, states, and even different countries. I am wishing you good health and fortune for your kindness. Thank you!”

The books will give students access to books as they do not have access to this at home. It will help develop their language skills and build interest for other students within the classroom through the use of book reviews. These texts will encourage and help students build a positive mindset around reading and learning.
With all of this, they do not have access to quality books in their homes and are always asking about new books and when they will be able to check another text out. Our classroom pushes students to become lifelong learners and readers and I hope to cultivate this love for learning even further.
