  • Printing Our Culture

    The supplies and materials granted to us through donors choose has been extremely helpful in showing our cultural identity in the classroom. We were able to print photos from our country and our flags to display in our bulletin board.

    The students were most excited to actually hold printings of photos from where they came from. With the help from the parents we were able to print out personal photos that connected them to their country of origin.

    Most of the students have never used a printer or more specifically used one freely. We allowed them to pick and choose what they wanted to print. It was helpful in giving them a voice.”

Our classroom is in need of a printer. We try to provide pictures of places, foods and clothing from each others cultures around our room and a printer will help. Also as a Pre-K Classroom everything in the class must be labeled and we post our site words on our Word Wall. These are just a few things that a printer will help us with. Also, some of the other items are necessities for a Pre-K Classroom. I want my students to have a full and enriched experience and have all the materials needed that any other Pre-K class would have so they can have a equal opportunity to prosper and learn.

About my class
