  • Our Classroom's Little Library

    These book bins have completely transformed our classroom library! The bins are easy for their little hands to manage.

    My students can easily access their favorite books and handle the bins with ease.

    My students were so excited when I put the new bins in our library. I was able to organize the books by genre and themes! They move how they can see inside the bins and can easily grab their favorite books!

  • 1-220 Needs a New Meeting Area Rug!

    My students & I love our new meeting area carpet! It is has made sitting in our meeting area more enjoyable and comfortable!

    The children have more room to sit and have their own designated spots! We love it!

    This has also made our transitions to the meeting area so smooth. The children have their own spots, they have more room to move around. They love being able to turn and talk to their partners.

    When the carpet arrived they were so excited!! It really makes our classroom a cozier space. They enjoy coming to the carpet for our phonics & reading lessons!”

  • iPad for Ms. Delaney’s Class!

    This project has helped both myself and my students immensely. My students now have a device that they can easily manage to use for centers, reward time, and use to complete their assigned work.

    My students love to work to earn iPad time. They're favorite feature is using the Apple Pencil. They love using it to write or draw!

    One of my students who is on the spectrum really loves having access to the iPad to express himself. It also has increased participation and good behavior! My students also love sharing pictures of their work with their families on class dojo! I have become very fond of using the iPad to access to curriculum, digital lesson plans and using it to communicate with families.”

A classroom iPad will give my first graders an opportunity to integrate hands-on technology into our daily lessons. This will allow them to conduct research, use ebooks, create projects and become digital classroom citizens. This will also allow my students to collaborate on group projects and help them develop and build upon social skills they need to work on. Due to the pandemic many of my students prefer using technology to complete their work. An iPad will provide many of my students an opportunity to showcase their work in ways that best meet their needs.
