Sweets and Treats for Those in Need
Funded Mar 7, 2025Due to your generous support, our students will be able to carry-out our Charity Clubs’s mission of helping local community organizations! With the supplies you’ve helped us secure, students will work together to make and decorate sweet treats to sell and donate the proceeds.
Thank you! We could not have done this without you.”

Crafting with Care
Funded Sep 17, 2024Thank you! Your support has helped our school's Charity Club make a tremendous impact in the lives of our students and local community!
Due to your generosity, we were able to hand-make a number of awesome holiday themed crafts to sell and donated the profits to St. Mary's Hospital for Children. Our students worked collaboratively to lovingly construct felt plushies, assemble hot chocolate goodie bags, and cover pretzels and Oreos in chocolate, among many other things. Thanks to you, we have enough supplies to continue crafting and caring for our community into the next half of the school year. We are so grateful! Thank you!”

Materials Matter
Funded Jul 6, 2024The school year is off to a great start because of your support! Every item has been critical to developing and maintaining a productive learning environment!
The fade-resistant markers have inked anchor charts and word walls; the headphones have helped students complete their digital assignments; the colorful paper has color-coded language supports; and the stamps have offered students timely feedback—for this and so much more, my English Language Learners (ELLs) and I are so grateful!
Thank you for choosing us!”

Funded Mar 2, 2024We are happy to share that your support helped our student scientists identify problems and solve them by engaging in the engineering design process! One group of scientists constructed their very own rubber band-powered car! They tested how far it could travel and improved their design by including a crank in their later models. Another group that I over saw, sowed seeds and then maintained them for several weeks until they reached maturity. The plants were deprived of water and our scientists later drew conclusions about which plant was better able to conserve water based on their findings.
At the end of our program, all groups presented their work and two went on to the district-level competition. It is because of your generosity and kindness that our scientists were able to do this! For this, and so much more, we are so grateful! Thank you!”

From Print to Paper
Funded Sep 18, 2023You have made lessons for English Language Learners (ELLs) more visual and engaging! The printer makes content accessible and tangible in seconds while the colorful paper helps ELLs form associations / connections between ideas and vocabulary and even organizes work flow. Overall, my students' needs have become better addressed because of your generosity! Thank you so much for making language and content learning possible and enjoyable! We are so grateful for your continued support. Happy holidays!”

ELLs and Science
Funded Sep 9, 2023With your support, my English Language Learners (ELLs) now have access to beautifully illustrated graphic novels/comics to learn about science! These visuals and the thoughtful word choice make the Science Comics series a great resource for learning about almost anything that students may find interesting and some even relate to our units of study like the weather!
You have made the difficult work of learning a new language and science content more engaging and enjoyable, for that, and so much more, we are grateful! Thank you for your kindness and generosity!”

Growing Through STEM!
Funded Jan 31, 2023Thank you for your support! Your generous gifts have allowed students to engage in the scientific practice of developing and using models. The STEAM kits highlighted some of the units we explored this year such as energy and force and motion and further allowed students to investigate these topics independently or collaboratively. What's more, even though the STEAM kits were at times challenging, many students rose to the occasion and were rewarded with the feeling of true satisfaction! We appreciate you for giving us the opportunity to explore and achieve success! Thank you!”

Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead!
Funded Nov 23, 2022Thank you! Because of you, developing models has never been more fun!
The clay, sticks, and STEAM kits that you gifted us have been purposed for challenging and engaging activities! With the clay and sticks, my students had the opportunity to appreciate the difference between a Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse. During lunch, my students were able to develop models independently or with support from a peer--these models have prompted thought-provoking investigations and companionship! What's even more amazing is seeing how excited my students are every week when they get to work on their models! Some have completed models of the Earth, Moon, and Sun, hydraulic lift, MagLev, and many more!
We are so appreciative of you and your support! Thank you for making learning fun and visual!”

Funded Oct 26, 2022Thank you! Our afterschool Bilingual Club has engaged in many new English and Spanish language learning experiences because of you!
As you know, we meet every Wednesday and Thursday. For this reason, developing new and meaningful activities can be a challenge, but your gift is the gift that keeps on giving!
Our bilingualists enjoy the quick thinking elements involved in playing the Spanish and English Bananagrams sets. Codenames challenges our Bilingualists to work with partners and make use of their observation and language skills. These experiences and so many more have facilitated social-emotional and language growth! We are so grateful for you and your support! Thank you!”

Super Scientists!
Funded Sep 2, 2022We are so grateful! You have provided my scientists with a number of quality learning tools that have enhanced our explorations greatly. Our most recent lessons have been about the solar system. Our solar system banner (see item pictured) was a fantastic opportunity to discuss the difference between "to scale" and "not to scale" models.
With awesome visuals of Earth and related systems, for example, learning has become streamlined. Similarly, school and class-related information has been easily dispersed because of our "mailbox" organizer.
Thank you for making teaching and learning even more enjoyable! You and your support are so appreciated.”
