These material will make learning fun for my students! With special education the students tend to have a short attention span. It really helps if I make things fun and turn it into a game. These items will help me do just that!
The math games and stories allow me to teach math in a fun way. My students really struggle with simple addition and I feel like this will help. If they have any type of manipulative it helps them learn easier.
I added surface cleaner because we work in groups a lot. This will allow me to clean each surface after use. Due to Covid-19 this is very important.
I have Skillmatics Educational Game: I Can Write to teach my students how to write. I'm hoping this will help us work on letter size and spacing. We are also working on writing complete sentences with correct punctuation. This is also why I added Key Education Sentence Building for Kids.
I added Busy Board Busy Book Sensory Toy Space Explorers for my students with autism. I feel like this would be a good sensory activity for them. This would also be a good educational tool.
Sight Words Bingo will help my kids recognize sight words. Most of my students are unfamiliar with them. They need to learn basic sight words to improve their reading. My kids love playing bingo and I thought this would be a great way to learn sight words.
I added dry erase markers to use with our activity mats.
I choose a lot of interactive materials. My students struggle with just using worksheets. I want learning to be fun and easy for my students. I also want them to be able to retain what is taught. I feel like these items will help me accomplish
