While it seems diverse in materials, this Donors Choose campaign is designed to help meet the needs to students who have only experience school during a pandemic. The classroom library materials will help build a print-rich classroom where students can find text that they relate to and enjoy. They will be motivated to read and inspired to learn as they engage with a variety of biographies. Each student is unique and they learn in a variety of ways. Throughout the pandemic, students have been very limited in their seating option to maintain social distancing. Flexible seating helps students to stay engaged in the classroom by helping them to subtly move their bodies and sit in a way that is comfortable for them and best suits their individual needs while maintaining social distancing. The materials that these seating options are made of are easily sanitized. Finally, the headphones will allow students who must work at home to engage with online learning and help provide an environment where they can do their best work.
