Aligning Learning Across Settings!
Funded Dec 2, 2024I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for the generous grant provided to support our resource classroom. With your funding, we have been able to acquire books that align our lessons with those in the general education classes, ensuring that our students receive a cohesive and comprehensive learning experience. The math manipulatives are proving invaluable in helping students grasp complex concepts, while the office supplies like paper, and glue are essential for our daily activities. Your support has significantly enhanced our educational resources, making a tangible difference in the quality of education for our students.
Additionally, the prizes for our class store have been a fantastic motivator, encouraging students to engage actively in their learning and strive for their personal best. The snacks you provided cater to our students who have snack breaks throughout the day, offering them the sustenance they need to stay focused and energized. Your generosity has not only enriched our classroom environment but also shown our students the power of community support. Thank you once again for your kindness and investment in our students' success.”

Sensory Tools for All Learners!
Funded Oct 13, 2023Thank you so much for the donation to our classroom! The students were so excited to open the packages...it was like Christmas in October! It was really fun to let them help with the unboxing, and see all of the fun things to use in our classroom.
The weighted blankets, noise canceling headphones, and other sensory items have helped my students regulate their bodies to be ready to learn at school. We were able to set up a calm down corner that is used for any special ed students in the school that need a place to take a quiet break.
The candy, play money, and other small prizes were used to stock our learning lab store. In all of our learning groups, students are able to earn plastic coins and dollars to keep in their wallets. Twice a month they come to "store" to spend their hard earned cash! In addition to motivating them to work hard every day, it's been great practice for those who are learning to count money.”

Learning That Is Accessible to All!
Funded Aug 10, 2022Thank you so much for your donation to my support classroom! My students were so excited to receive our new resources. The sit spots are perfect for helping to keep wiggly little bodies in place on the carpet (or as pillows for a quick afternoon nap!). The adaptive scissors have been perfect for the kiddos that lack fine motor skills, and have allowed us to create some darling craft projects. The teachers pay teachers gift card has allowed us to purchase activities that can be printed and adapted to each child's individual needs. I am so grateful for generous donors that help us get what we need to make school a safe and fun place fo my students.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Utah State Board of Education. All Students Can Learn!
Funded Oct 12, 2021Thank you so much for the books and classroom supplies! The students were so excited to receive them for our classroom and have loved using them over the past few months. The sensory items and visual timers we were able to get have helped keep students calm during emergency drills or other situations that are typically stressful for students with disabilities. The small toys we received were added to our prize bucket to reinforce behavior plans and work completion for the entire class.
With your generous donation, we were also able to purchase paint, brushes, markers, colored pencils, glitter and other craft supplies. Despite their varying ability levels, my students love to create new things and we use art supplies frequently for many different subject areas.
We also received several picture books, and some teachers pay teachers gift cards that have allowed me to differentiate many science units, math lessons, and reading and writing tasks to better meet the needs of individual students. My students and I are so grateful for your donation and the positive impact it has had in our classroom.”
