The use of calculators is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially in math. This calculator is an advanced color graphing calculator with a natural textbook display and an intuitive icon-based menu. It is easy to use and has 3-dimensional graphing capability. This specific calculator has an improved catalog function allows for greater engagement and real-life application in the mathematics classroom. This calculator is approved for AP, SAT I/II, PSAT, NMSQT, ACT Tests. The students will need to use the calculator for guided practice and to record modeled strategies. The calculators allow me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work. I don't have any calculators to use in my classroom and I will be teaching Math of Finance and Algebra 2 to these students. They need to have a calculator to answer some of the most difficult problems. My resource students need this tool to assist them in their everyday mathematics skills. By having the Casio fx-cg50, students will be able to avoid all of these problems and focus on increasing their learning! By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
