The sensory hallway will benefit students of all ages. It can be used at any time throughout the school day when students need a brain break. This hallway will give students the opportunity to move their bodies and work off excess energy. Being able to move during the day will help students to focus better in the classroom. Evidence-based research continues to show that including movement into a child’s everyday routine at school can be beneficial to their academic success. A moving child is a more regulated child who is in a better space to learn.
