Our students learn by new experiences. Having books of several genres or subjects will assist them in reaching a higher general understanding of many things in life. Their goal in kindergarten is to continue building a base knowledge and keep it as they grow through school. Having access to many of these titles, fiction and nonfiction, will help open their minds to topics they may have never heard of or never seen. It also gives students a chance to share if they have had experiences similar to what we are reading.
