Color Printer for Engaging Activities
Funded Dec 4, 2023What a wonderful way to start the 2024 year! Mrs. Garfield, Ms. Peddle, Mrs. Ricci, Mr. Taylor and I are so grateful for this wonderful gift. Our students and staff will be surprised to see that we now have a color printer to create engaging games and reports. It is such a relief to know that we have access to technology that works and we don't have to use our personal home color printers. This very generous gift will make our lives much easier and give us so much more time actually learning instead of using black and white games. We will also use this printer to create color reports for the data we share with our teachers. Thank you again.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. D.

Funded Jul 25, 2023It is with much gratitude and appreciation that I write this thank you for your kindness and willingness to give toward Mathis Fun and Games. With the various games received, students have had more interactive opportunities to increase their learning in a fun and creative way.
Having games has helped students explore number concepts, place value, patterns, and other important math concepts, as well as helped them understand and master basic facts. Students need to practice math skills with multiple opportunities for it to be stored in their long term memory.
Again, thank you for your generous donation. My students' faces lit up when I showed them the new games! They beg me everyday to use the games, which is also increasing their understanding and love for math. I have you to thank that despite the everyday challenges my students face, they have an abundance in school, even though that may not be the case elsewhere; and come to school excited and ready to learn.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. D.
Hands On Math
Funded Feb 21, 2022It is with much gratitude and appreciation that I write this thank you for your kindness and willingness to give toward Hands on Math. With the various manipulatives received (i.e. 10 frames, counters, place value charts, dominos, number and dot cards), students have had more interactive opportunities to learn as well as help them visually see the abstract concept of math and understand it at their level.
Having manipulatives has helped to provide a bridge between the concrete and abstract levels of many mathematical topics, serve as models that support students as they think, remember, and communicate about the mathematics being learned, support student engagement and differentiation, and increase confidence and willingness to take risks!
Again, thank you for your generous donation. My students' faces lit up when the supplies arrived! They beg me everyday to use the materials, which is also increasing their understanding and love for math. I have you to thank that despite the everyday challenges my students face, they have an abundance in school, even though that may not be the case elsewhere; and come to school excited and ready to learn.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. D.
