It seems my students have forgotten how learning can be fun! By giving them new stories from different perspectives and ways (besides technology) that they can express themselves, I’m hoping I can spark interest in my students to want to learn after a challenging year! This is such an important age to discuss racism and learn about history from multiple perspectives. Then with our air dry clay, I’m hoping my students can create something they can be proud of. Their confidence is really lacking this year. I think an art show is just what they need to build community and confidence together.
