Each of my student has an individual IEP(Individual Education Program). I prepare all my lessons based on my students' unique needs. I use a lot of task boxes. Task boxes are designed to help teachers to teach certain skill, such as developing fine motor skills, letter and number recognition, sight words, sorting, sequencing, reading and math. Put-in tasks are a basic starting point for students who have limited or no ability to work independently. They are a perfect place to start their independent journey after they graduate from school. I believe all these materials will be used for my students to boost their learning skills. Designing job related tasks and (ADL) Activities of Daily Living, it will prepare them for future employment and/or independent living.
