As school counselors we work toward removing barriers that can interfere with a student's success. Sometimes something as simple as a calculator can be a real road block. Students can use this calculator through high school. The school does have some classroom calculators they can use, but students can't take them home. If they aren't able to finish their work at home, it is difficult to complete homework. Getting behind in math really makes things hard because math builds on itself from day to day and year to year.
