I am a first year teacher and for many of my students this is their first year in school. We are all "under construction" which is also the theme of my classroom. These materials will allow my students to work independently or with a partner on math skills and allow me to work in small groups. My students speak Spanish as their first language and most of them are below grade level. Small group teaching is essential for my wonderful, hardworking students to master the many math concepts in first grade.
