  • Teachers Pay Teachers

    Funded Jun 29, 2022

Thank you so much for finding my teachers pay teacher project. There are so many useful tools and instructional units. I am currently using TPT to creat a communication board for my students with autism and non verbal students. This is going to be a great asset to our ICT class.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Dellaripa

  • Cut, Copy, and Paste

    Funded Dec 9, 2021

This printer has been an amazing resource. It has been an asset to my classroom. I can print endless copies and resources for my students. It is also a huge help when I have to cover other classrooms when teachers are absent. I use the printer to make copies for multiple classes. I also make packets, print out sight words, words for my word wall, alphabet books, and crafts. It prints quickly when I need resources on the go. The ink lasts a long time so I don't need to spend a lot of money on ink.

    Honestly this printer is awesome!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Dellaripa

  • Small Intervention = Big Success!

    Funded Nov 27, 2021

My students were so exited to use these new centers. The centers are different from what they use in their classroom or what the school supplies. They were very eager to get started with them!

These centers have been an amazing asset to my classroom and instruction. My students are very hands on, multi-sensory learners and they respond well to learning when presented the same context multiple ways. One of our favorites is the "it's a snap math center." The kids love to use manipulatives when learning math and it helps them when solving addition problems using number bonds.

We use the letter tubes when teaching one letter and sound per week. We also use the cvc center when learning about word families and decoding cvc words.

Some of our next steps will be decoding words with consonant digraphs and long vowels. Thanks to you, we have made a lot of progress in reading and learning letter sounds.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Dellaripa

Please help me to provide small group instruction and intervention to my special needs students using the materials requested. My students need interventions outside of the curriculum and general education classroom in order to learn best to fit their needs. The Alphabet sound tubs will help me teach students who read on beginning kindergarten level to learn letter sound correspondence, phonemic awareness, and vocabulary. The CVC touch center will be the next step after students develop understanding of letter sounds. This activity will support them in word development. They will practice how to segment and blend CVC words by touching the dots under each letter sound and matching the word to the picture. This will help them in early reading development and transfer to reading print in books. The math centers will provide a tactile approach to help teach children basic number sense. The common core calls for students to be able to solve equations using multiple methods. These math activities allows students to practice this for success. Many of my students have difficulty with fine and gross motor skills. The sand sensory table is a necessary tool to help them develop and strengthen their muscles. You may be asking why I also requested for magnetic boarders. Believe it or not children respond to a warm colorful classroom. Why not make your class a home that children WANT to enter. Thats the first step to successful teaching. I will use the boarders to showcase student work so they can be PROUD of what they have accomplished. Lastly, the printer ink is a HUGE necessity for printed resources and cut and paste activities for my students. The pandemic forced our schools to make budget cuts, including making copies for our teachers.
