A portion of our daily literacy learning is individual time spent on a Chromebook, doing Lexia. During our class literacy time, students rotate through different centers completing reading tasks. Lexia is one of those centers. Students work independently on Lexia, completing literacy tasks that have been specifically designed for them. Students continue moving up through different levels of Lexia all year. Lexia is highly motivating and has proven to be greatly effective as a literacy learning tool in my classroom. Lexia makes learning literacy fun! Having an additional four Chromebooks available for my students to use during literacy time will benefit my classroom greatly.
