Our class is delighted to have received books donated to us through the Donors Choose Program. The books have been so intriguing and amazing to my students. My morning jump-start is small chunks of segments from the previous stories. The students really enjoy recalling details and recapping story events. This continuous process helps my student's cognitive thinking excel to higher heights. They really enjoy listening to read-aloud and completing story webs, and graphic organizers. However, we never received the document cam from Allstate Insurance Company. Our students are growing daily as they are learning new sounds, words, and language and developing their literacy skills. Again thanks a million for donating those storybooks to our classroom. We are making efforts in becoming lifelong Readers.”
