These materials will be used in a resource room. The students in my classroom need extra assistance and I want to think outside the box to help them grow as learners. My goal is to use other teaching strategies to help students finally make connections and fill in the gaps. For example, rather than learning how to write their name with a pencil and paper, I plan to have them learn through tracing their name in the sand which will stimulate kinesthetic learning and sensory learning. These materials will allow me to provide hands-on learning while making it a fun experience.
