This classroom project was brought to life by San Diego Gas & Electric and 12 other donors.

Every child's dream is to build and create robots at least once in their lives. These materials will allow students to get a first hand-experience of what it is like to make a plan, build, and play with the robots. These robots will teach everything from design thinking to engineering, collaboration, complexity, math, and more. Even advanced ideas like abstract modeling, systems thinking, and emergence can be explored with these deceptively simple robot blocks. These robots will help build better thinkers. It will help my students' learning in a more innovative and creative way. They will use their own thinking and design to create robots, with their math, science and problem-solving skills to successfully achieve the challenges that will be given.
