Thomas C. Giordano Middle School is a high needs school. We have a diverse school with approximately 900 students for grades 6 through 8. We operate on a limited budget, which means we lack luxuries such as technology. I have taught the Gifted and Talented program for the past 15 years. This program helps our students get scholarships to private schools and specialized high schools. However, it is hard to compete with other programs, who not only have the basic resources (such as copy paper, updated textbooks, etc.) but technology as well. I currently have enough graphing calculators for about 65% of my class and my students share 2 working computers for a classroom of 30 students. Our computers are going on 10 years old and do not always function properly. Any support is much appreciated! School motto: "Increase the Awesome"
