  • Enrich Our Curriculum: Toys for Learning through Play!

    Funded Nov 20, 2024

Thank you so much for your donation to our classroom, it has been a wonderful addition to our units of study!

During the tree study the wooden log building set and tree stone blocks were a great asset in our block area. We used the apple sorting activity set to enhance students knowledge of colors and matching in the math center. The smores campfire set was used in our dramatic play area to create a camp theme!

We are currently in our recycling unit and students are having so much fun with the garbage truck game! I first read the book "I Stink" and taught them about garbage trucks and then placed it into the block area to explore!

We are so thankful for the materials you have provided us and can't wait to use the rest!

    Thank you so much again!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Paulino

  • Leveled Readers for Leaders!

    Funded Aug 2, 2023

Thank you so much for your contribution of both nonfiction and fiction books to our classroom. Your generosity has created a literary haven where students explore diverse worlds and ideas, fostering a deep appreciation for reading.

For small group instruction, leveled readers prove instrumental. These resources cater to individual proficiency levels, providing targeted support and fostering a more personalized learning experience. Your thoughtful contributions enhance the effectiveness of our teaching methods, making a significant difference in our students' academic development.

    Thank you again!”

  • A Big Spot of SEL

    Funded Jan 23, 2023

Thank you so much for donating to our classroom library! Students were super excited to see all of the new books and plushies that arrived. These books helped support student social emotional learning by making feelings into concrete objects/ideas. Through these books (anger, anxiety, sadness) students are able to understand that all emotions are valid as long as they use appropriate responses to those emotions.

I also used the book on love during Valentine's Day to teach children about different ways to show love such as words of affirmation! This was a great tool as certain emotions are difficult for little learners to understand. These books are awesome in providing visuals and helping the children make connections to real world scenarios.

Thank you again for your support in our classrooms social emotional library!”

  • Opening the Doors to Reading!

    Funded Dec 15, 2022

Thank you so much for your contribution to my classroom and helping me fulfill this project! I am super excited to be able to give my students books that support both their home language and their English language acquisition. Both the English and Spanish texts have provided my bilingual students with materials that they can understand and enjoy reading.

I have also used many of these books during read-aloud, in which I have noticed an improvement in engagement among my Spanish speaking students! With your generous contribution, my students are able to feel included in the classroom.”

  • The Art of Creating!

    Funded Dec 1, 2022

Thank you so much for your donation of art supplies! My students were very happy to see new materials in our art center. I was able to give them a tour of our new and improved art materials and even gave a lesson on how to use them!

The donation of dot markers were very helpful in helping students who need support in strengthening their fine motor skills create beautiful art pieces! The art trays allow me to prepare art activities for students ahead of time to place on tables during center time. The wicker trays have helped my students become independent and organized!

Thank you so much for your incredible support to my classroom and students. I am very grateful for donors like you who believe in public education!”

  • Preschool Moving Up Ceremony Gifts

    Funded Sep 7, 2022

It is with gratitude that I submit this impact letter to you. I am absolutely floored at the kindness and willingness to donate to my students "preschool moving up gifts". I received this donation at the beginning of the school year and I am very excited to gift it to my students at their moving up ceremony! My students were absolutely thrilled to see the package when it arrived in the classroom and even tried on the book bags!

With this generous donation I can supply my students with materials to facilitate their learning at home! Students and their parents can work together using the materials to strengthen their math and emergent literacy skills. Thank you for your gift to bridge the gap between school and home!”

  • Ready, Set, Explore

    Funded Aug 24, 2022

Thank you so much! Words cannot express the gratitude that I feel for the generosity you have shown my students and I. Your donations have provided a science center that students are actually excited to learn in! Having a science center that reflects the natural world helps promotes student engagement and learning in my classroom.

The materials donated have been a wonderful asset for hands-on learning and investigation. Students are able to guide their own learning and allow their natural curiosity to shine! The magnifying glasses were used in our gingerbread exploration, where students searched for our missing gingerbread man through out the school building. This activity allowed students to learn about the school environment, the teachers, and their five senses. The tree trunk stools have provided students with flexible seating options through out the classroom environment. These stools have allowed students to become independent and choose where and how they want to use them. Thank you so much for making my vision come alive!”

  • Seeing Is Believing

    Funded May 13, 2022

Thank you so so much! Words cannot express the gratitude that I feel for your generous donation. Through your donation I am able to print visuals to support my students learning. These real world images will help students make connections between abstract ideas.

Last year, I was able to use the printer to support classroom instruction, print out student diplomas, as well as make end of the year T-shirts by printing onto iron-on vinyl. Students were able to take these t-shirts home, where they will have a gift to remember all the fun they had in my classroom. I cannot thank you enough for your impact and will forever be grateful for the gift you have given to my students. I will continue to use the printer to support student learning!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Paulino
