As a Special Education Teacher and Interventionist, I run a small "Resource Room" Classroom, in which students receive academic support, and intervention programs. My little classroom was once upon a time a photography lab, and a maker space for our robotics club, and the past few years we have used it as the Academic Intervention Support Room. I would love to continue to transform this small space into a stimulating and supportive environment for all of my students with disabilities. Some of the materials we are hoping to fill the room with are Wobble chairs for energetic learners, various skill and literacy games and activities to help support student interest and excitement, clear face masks so students can see each others facial expressions and my reading fluency students can practice phonetic enunciation of word parts, math games and manipulatives to stimulate interest, and overall bright and colorful materials that help create a warm and exciting environment that supports students in the "Resource Room!"
