Technology is essential in society. It helps people connect, research topics they are passionate about, and give students the chance to work together. In my classroom, we have 16 Chromebooks for 28 students. Based on these numbers, students cannot work collaboratively in GoogleSlides or work in Lexia unless Chromebooks are rotated throughout the day. Having a Chromebook for each student allows them to increase their technological understanding by accessing various educational sites and tools. I want my students to see all the good that technology can be used for by showing them the proper resources in a classroom setting. Google Classroom, Lexia, and Nearpod are just a few of the exciting ways to help students stay engaged in what they are learning.
