This year my focus is to have my students use different kinds of painting supplies! The water color pencils are super fun because the students color their project and then they add a little bit of water to transform their drawing into a painting!! The tempera cakes are fantastic for my younger students! They will learn how to get the biggest of colors using those paints. Painting in art is essential! Children need to have a paint brush in their hands! After last school year where the students were either home learning or I was pushing into their classroom, they did not get to paint at all! My goal this year is to have all my students exposed to painting using a variety of different paints and painting techniques.
