  • Let It Glow!

    Funded Jun 13, 2024

There are not enough words to express my joy, gratitude, and thanks for your generous donations to my class project. My students and I are so very appreciative of your support for this creative and fun learning opportunity. We are looking forward to receiving the black lights, neon materials and decorations to make this classroom transformation a dream come true. This will be a great tool as we continue to grow and glow in the classroom. We can't wait to share some pictures of us celebrating our first glow day. Thank you again!”

  • Grow Our Library With Graphic Novels!

    Funded Jun 30, 2023

Thank you so much for the wonderful donation to my classroom. My students have enjoyed the Dog Man, Cat Kid, Judy Moody, and Stink series books. With the high interest books that have been added to our classroom library, a true love for reading has been growing in 3rd grade this year!

My students love going to the classroom library because there is a book of interest for each child. The students have enjoyed exploring the different characters as well as making connections with the plot of their favorite books. The joy of independent reading, buddy reading, and even book clubs with the students in my class has been possible because of your donations.

We appreciate and thank you for your generosity!”

  • Do You Hear What I Hear?

    Funded Aug 3, 2023

We could not be more thankful for your generous donations to our classroom! This year I have a wonderful class of smart, motivated and hard working 3rd graders! The impact of having technology in our classroom has been overwhelming and amazing. Being able to have a class set of good quality and durable headphones makes a huge difference!

The students were so shocked and filled with gratitude when they learned about being given such an awesome opportunity to have their very own set of brand new headphones. My students have been using their Chrome books to work on various educational programs, which helps support their learning.

Your donations gave my students pride and unrelenting motivation because you believe in them! We are incredibly thankful for donors such as you!”

  • Getting Back To The Basics!

    Funded Jan 23, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donations to our classroom! Your contributions have made such a positive impact on our learning, especially when we were in need to restock our supplies. My students are always in need of a pencil and sometimes start their day with the anxiety of not having one ready. So just knowing that pencils were donated to our classroom to ensure that they had a writing tool, really meant a lot to my students.

The markers are being used to create beautiful colorful learning anchor charts to help provide a visual support for students. My students also love using the markers and get to make their own charts during group activities. The table top easel is perfect when I get to meet my students in small groups to reinforce skills for academic support. I've also been able to laminate more centers, mini posters, and individual charts with the use of the laminating pouches. Once again, thank you for making all of this possible!”

  • Math and Me

    Funded Aug 9, 2022

Thank you so much for your support and believing in our classroom! My students love math and are really enjoying the fun, engaging math games. They are enjoying working together in small groups with all of our new materials. Your contribution has helped to enhance our lessons. For example, my students love the Multiplication Tower and division bingo games, which is helping them master their multiplication and division facts.

The fractions hands-on materials such as, the fraction circle bars, magnetic fraction strips, and fraction tower activity kit that I requested are going to make learning fractions more engaging and concrete! Fractions is an essential unit in our math curriculum. It's also one of the most important standards that must be mastered in 3rd grade. Using a concrete model and hands on approach will help my students compare fractions. In addition, the fraction strips will allow me to see exactly how the students are approaching a problem, as well as provide an opportunity for them to show and share their work. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for making math more fun and meaningful!”

  • Add a Splash of Color with a Color Printer

    Funded Mar 30, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous donations that allowed my classroom to have an Epson Eco-Tank printer. The printer is absolutely amazing and has been put to great use so far! I was able to print out centers, pictures, activities and graphic organizers for my students. My students are more engaged when details stand out in color. I've been able to showcase their amazing work and my students are so proud!

Often times the copiers at school are out of order or copies are limited. The printer has allowed me to have immediate access to the materials needed to provide scaffolding and visual cues for all of my students. The Eco Tank not only helped us to cut the cost of ink, but it also helped my students to have any resource readily available. The best part of it all, I have not yet changed the ink and have so much left! This wonderful classroom resource will be cherished and put to great use year after year. Once again, my students and I truly appreciate your donations.”

  • We Have a Dream for Biographies and Informational Books

    Funded Jul 26, 2022

Thank you so much for your generous donations which has allowed me to update my classroom library. For this project, my students and I were able to receive independent informational books about our favorite topics. Some of the topics that are covered include biographies and animals.

When I learned that my students had a great interest in learning about influential people and realized that some of our classroom resources were limited, I knew I had to send in a special project just for them. My students were extremely excited when hearing about this project being funded and even more excited when the books arrived. My students have already picked their books and began reading them! Soon they'll be ready to start their informational reports. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for putting these amazing books in the hands of my students!”

  • Everyone Is Welcome Classroom Theme

    Funded May 10, 2022

Words cannot describe the gratitude my students and I have with our beautifully decorated classroom. My students returned from summer vacation, full of energy and ready to learn! What better way to welcome them into third grade, than with a classroom theme of acceptance and celebration of being unique. This classroom theme is so warm and inviting not only to my students, but everyone who walks in. It gives my students a sense of feeling welcomed by letting them know they are invited into a world of learning!

The classroom decor was carefully selected this year because I wanted my students to know that they matter. This was the perfect theme to make them feel just that! Thanks to you and your generous donation, my vision for this theme was brought to life! The calming colors are soothing and gives a sense of home.

Our classroom is a wonderful safe space filled with endless possibilities and we thank you once again for celebrating that everyone is welcome with us!”

  • Book Worms Who Love Reading

    Funded Jan 7, 2022

My third grade students are loving the new books that have been added to our classroom library. They have been so excited about having more interesting books to read and look forward to switching books on their book shopping days! They use the books for independent reading both at home and in the classroom.

The Goosebumps books have been a huge hit in my classroom. My students have formed their own little book clubs and really look forward to meeting up with their friends to read the next chapter. In addition, many of the my students are also enjoying having options to read fun and engaging books at different reading levels. For example, the I Can Read book series as well as the Henry and Mudge books have motivated my lower level students to read more. They love to read these books in small groups and discuss the story elements! I have even heard them comparing and contrasting book titles! These books have inspired the students to have discussions about characters, the author's message, and learning about character change.

Once again, my students and I are so grateful for your generous donations!”

  • For The Love Of Reading

    Funded Sep 9, 2021

It is with great gratitude and appreciation that I submit this impact letter to you for your kindness and willingness to give toward our project "For The Love of Reading." With the engaging and high interest books to read, my students have gained a better understanding of character development. It has been a positive influence that they have access to books that are relatable and can make text-to-self connections. My students are building and developing a love for reading and it's all because of your contribution to our classroom success.

Having access to graphic novels, a fun book series collection such as Diary of a Wimpy Kid as well as other fiction favorites, has empowered my students to have positive attitudes towards reading. These books are the students' first choices when they go book shopping as part of our lending library. Their book baggies are filled with these amazing book titles. The spark of excitement that I see in my students when they pick up a book is priceless in the world we live in today.

Again, thank you for your donation. Our children's faces lit up when the books arrived! They beg me everyday to switch out their books. This is also a part of their growing love for reading. We thank you for your generosity to ensure that our students have an abundance in school, even though that may not be the case elsewhere."”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Arce

These books will be used to enhance my classroom library. Every student book that is placed in my library is treated with love and care and they are thankful for the opportunities to read. All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind. My students talk about these book titles all of the time and the titles are really popular at my school. Students will be able to choose books, which will help them continue to enjoy independent reading time. Most of the time, students don't have access to books at home. These books will also be used as a lending library, in which they can enjoy reading at home as well. This book project would only enrich their love of reading and expand their interest level in the world of books!
