Each item selected will allow our Kindergarten students to connect to their Push & Pull physics lesson through engagement with exciting hands-on activities. Students will learn to develop a question surrounding the phenomena and create an observable experience for exploration in seeking an answer. How exciting! The reading of Ce Ce Loves Science prior to each lesson will encourage students to develop their own questions and connect personally with each experience. Teachers will use the Roller & Race activities to model friction and other interruptions of movement. Students will use the castor wheels as they work in groups to design and build their own mini cardboard box cars to create their own push and pull experience. KareFlash construction materials will help students (while working in groups) to build simple machines used to make our daily jobs and activities of pushing/pulling easier. While working in groups our students will be encouraged to ask questions and share home stories with their friends. Each of these tools will help our scholars to think, speak and explore as a scientist.
