My students all have attention difficulties, especially during non-preferred tasks like reading and writing. They are also each in standardized testing years, which creates a lot of stress for them. Wobble stools will give them seating options that will allow them freedom of movement during learning and testing. Moving helps my students to focus on their learning by allowing them to get out any nervous energy that might distract them or their classmates. Having additional seating options in a variety of colors also will empower my students to make choices and take ownership of their learning.
