I would like to create a classroom in which students are empowered and comfortable with a classroom library, educational experiences ( butterfly kit), and essential items ( whiteboards/makers) for our daily 5 and math applications. Many of my students are reading at below grade level and do not have any access to books. I would like to provide my students with a classroom library filled with great authors to cultivate a love of reading in students. The whiteboards will be an essential tool in the classroom. It will allow me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work.
