Overall it will improve creativity, problem-solving, planning, This class, the students have a new sense of belonging to the school. The support of your organization and your donors will facilitate their efforts and will make a world of difference for them. Your generosity will help their vision become a reality. It will bring more than just knowledge of healthy foods and community outreach. Connecting with the community, building their education on sustainable gardens, healthy food, environmental pathways while working toward a common goal is priceless.
Coming back after a pandemic to in-person school has been a difficult adjustment particularly for 7th graders whose last experience of in-person learning was in elementary school. This project has renewed their sense of belonging and community. Your generous support will help bridge the sense of loss, and isolation they experienced in the last 18 months during online learning. It also provides a renewed pathway to connecting with the community and a stronger need for belonging while teaching how to work together toward a common goal.
The learning outcomes will be applicable throughout their life.
