I would love to be able to get these art supplies and in the hands of my students so we can do fun and creative art projects throughout this year. Using water colors to create their own name plates to show their individuality is a fun activity I want to do with my students during our identity unit. It would be great to use oil pastels when we learn about habitats to draw an animal's habitat. Some of these students have never used these art mediums before and I would love for them to have this experience. Art is a universal language and will allow for all my students to have a voice. I want to teach my students that they can do more than they realize. Third grade is such a crucial year to helping grow confidence and art helps with this important goal.
